C. Thomas McMillen, Chairman
Tom McMillen has served as the company's Chairman since September 2006 and Homeland Security Capital Corporation's CEO since August 2005. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Fortress International Group Inc., a company that designs, builds, and maintains mission critical facilities around the world.

Previously, McMillen co-founded and served as CEO of Global Secure Corp., a homeland security company providing integrated products and services for critical-incident responders. He was appointed by President Clinton to Co-Chair the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports from 1993 to 1997. From 1987 through 1993, McMillen served three consecutive terms in the United States House of Representatives from the 4th Congressional District.

McMillen graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Chemistry. He earned a BA and MA from University College, Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.


A. Martin Erim, CEO
Martin has served as the Company's CEO and Board Member since June 2007, and has provided to it general consulting services since January 2007 . He is also active with other firms in the safety, homeland security and defense IT sectors. His work includes safety systems for New York City high-rise buildings.

Previously, Erim was President and CEO of First Renaissance Ventures, a firm providing M&A, finance and advisory services to clients and projects in the real estate, construction, and technology sectors. Erim was also previously Senior Vice President at CACI, a publicly traded firm active in defense IT and network solutions with currently over 6,000 employees.

Erim graduated from the American University’s Washington College of Law. He earned a BA in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.


Robert Housman, Senior Advisor
Rob Housman is a nationally known expert on WMD terrorism. From 1996 to 2001, he served as Assistant Director for Strategic Planning in the White House Drug Czar’s Office, where his work focused extensively on issues now in the realm of homeland security, such as port and border security. He also has served as a consultant to the National Security Council during the Clinton Administration. Housman teaches homeland security and counter-terrorism for the University of Maryland, University Center and he has taught national security for Syracuse University’s Maxwell School. He is a contributing author of the Homeland Security Law Handbook (Government Institute Press 2005).

Housman graduated from the American University’s Washington College of Law (honors 1990). He earned a BA from St. Lawrence University.


Eric Vaughn, Senior Advisor
Eric Vaughn is the President of the Vaughn Group, a government affairs and lobbying company focused on homeland security, defense, intelligence programs, and energy security based in Washington DC.

Vaughn has served in the White House as a Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and on the National Security Council Staff as a Special Assistant to the President. Vaughn has also served in the National Security Division of the Federal Office of Management and Budget and in the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Defense.

Vaughn graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering and a Masters degree in Public Administration and International Economics.


Marianne Ricci, Executive Assistant/Office Manager
Marianne Ricci is a successful entrepreneur whose background includes real estate investment, marketing, management, and HR. Marianne is also Co-Founder and President of a production company currently focusing on radio and television production.

A notable public speaker, she regularly shares her wisdom, insight, and lessons learned to large and small audiences nationally and overseas. She is also involved in numerous charities and humanitarian activities.

Marianne received her education from Washington Business School and Oxford Secretarial School in Oxford, England.
